Albert Park Caretaker’s Cottage

The Caretaker’s Cottage in Albert Park was designed by architect Henry Wade and built in 1882. The Cottage is a Victorian timber bay villa, incorporating Gothic Revival decorative detailing. Alterations were made in 1908 to provide an internal bathroom and laundry out-building. An office was added in 1918. Conservation works undertaken in 2018 included replacing the slate roof, re-piling and strengthening works, as well as repairs and repainting.
